RCT Solutions is an international renewable energy company headquartered in Konstanz near Lake Konstanz in South Germany and has offices in Turkey, India, and China. We are the proven worldwide leaders in setting up green-field integrated PV factories with a thorough understanding of various processes.
Over the 10 years, RCT Solutions, served as a strategic partner and one-stop solutions partner of PV Manufacturing and renewable energy investors, governments, and associations to establish more than 94 GW of factory execution and installation.
To further strengthen and support our constantly growing team, we are looking for qualified and committed team members in our sales department in the role of Key Account Manager to join our team.
As a Key Account Manager in the Solar industry, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, managing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is essential for promoting renewable energy solutions and achieving the company’s sales and revenue targets.
- Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, including solar project developers, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies, and utilities.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and work on expanding the company’s solar product and service offerings.
- Prospect, pitch, and close new business opportunities with key accounts and collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful execution of sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest solar industry trends, products, and technologies to provide expert guidance to clients.
- Possess a strong understanding of solar systems, components, and installation processes to provide technical support and advice to clients.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring terms and conditions meet the needs of both the client and the company.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any concerns, inquiries, or issues promptly and effectively.
- Keep track of market trends, competitors, and industry regulations to provide insights and recommendations for product and service improvements.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, account status, and revenue forecasts to inform management and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with various departments within the organization, such as marketing, technical support, and operations, to ensure seamless customer service and project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in business (Sales), Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales and account management within the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of solar products, systems, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to develop and execute account plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events, as needed.
