Project Manager (Solar)
To further strengthen and support our constantly growing team, we are looking for Project Managers in our operations department.
RCT Solutions is an international renewable energy company headquartered in Konstanz in South Germany and has offices in India, Turkey and China. We are the proven worldwide leader in setting up green-field integrated PV factories as an engineering company with a thorough understanding of various processes. Over the 10 years, RCT-Solutions, served as a strategic one-stop solutions partner for renewable energy investors, governments and associations to establish GW-scale manufacturing all over the world.
To further strengthen and support our constantly growing team, we are looking for Project Managers in our operations department. The Project Managers will be responsible for the planning, execution and development of cross-functional projects worldwide for the realization of PV factories.
The Project Manager position can be located in our offices in Konstanz(Germany), Hyderabad (India) and Ankara (Turkey)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of solar PV manufacturing projects, including engineering, design, construction, commissioning, and operation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Support development and implementation of project management standards, procedures and documentation to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management, clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and resources, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage project-related contracts and negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the project team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in solar PV manufacturing or a related industry.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificatio & experience with project management tools preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Good comment of English both written and speaking. German is a plus.
- Willing to travel abroad for international client sites. Ability to travel up to 30% is a must.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, large-scale projects from conception to completion.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the solar industry.
